Dr. Triana has always had an interest in health and nutrition since an early age. He has competed as an amateur bodybuilder, power lifter, and biathlete. He has also developed several of his own products in the health and beauty industry. In addition to a busy surgical practice, Dr. Triana has been practicing integrative medicine, hormone balancing and age management for almost 10 years.
He first became interested in hormone replacement therapy at the age of 42 when he realized he could no longer build muscle mass despite his healthy eating habits and daily work out regimen. This led him to his own personal discovery of the many and diverse benefits of bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. It only made sense to add hormone balancing to his surgical practice.
He is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and has completed multiple training courses supplied by the academy. In addition, he completed Age Management training at the Cenegenics Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Triana is well versed in the care, treatment, and management of hormone disorders in both men and women. He has been featured in Suzanne Somers’ books as a specialist in the field.
